We’re proud of our 100+ Calculations. They handle the majority of tax and accounting complexities — capital gains tax, hire purchase schedules, Division 7A loan summaries, and more. They’re easy to use, consistent across your team, roll forward year-to-year, and can be populated with ATO data.

We’ve just added a small but useful improvement: you can now export any calculation straight to a PDF. It’s a small release, but it’s one of those features that’s really practical once you start using it.

What you can do with it

A few examples of where this comes in handy:

You’ve prepared CGT estimates for a property sale.

The client wants to see how you calculate the CGT bill — export the calculation and send it across, no need to spend time cleaning up a spreadsheet or fixing printing margins.

You need to hand a hire purchase schedule over to an external bookkeeper.

They handle the regular adjustments through the year and need a clean, standalone copy to reconcile against. Export it once and they’ve got a reference document that matches exactly what’s in the workpaper.

You’re finalising a management letter

It needs to show the client their Division 7A minimum repayment obligations for the year ahead. Attach the exported Division 7A summary directly – no more copying figures into a document by hand.

Why use our in-built functionality

• Consistent, professional formatting every time. It doesn’t matter which staff member built it or which client it’s for — the document a client or third party receives looks the same every time.
• No manual clean-up. Anyone who’s exported a spreadsheet calculation to PDF knows what usually happens: columns cut off at the page break, margins that need adjusting, headers repeated halfway down the page. This skips that step entirely.
